Four girls of grade 9.
On June 2nd [1956], the first Baptismal Service was held in the chapel of our Seibo Gakkuen[sic]. Shortly before Christmas, five girls told their Bible class teacher that they desired to be baptized together. They said that the Chapel Services especially had prompted them to make this decision. Special weekly preparation classes were then held with the five girls by the missionary, One of the girls could not get the consent of her elder brother, and so she must wait. It was a sad day for her. These girls are in grade 9.
