Palm Sunday baptism membership class. All of these folks were won as a direct result of the Lutheran Hour. All completed the Bible Correspondence Course and faithfully attended church & membership class for 12 weeks.
The average age of the class is 37 years. The old gent, 68 yr. Old Mr. Aoki, is a governmental prison counselor whose wife died five years ago leaving him sad, lonely, and inquisitive. And is he on fire for the Savior!! Mrs. Konno, 44 year old standing housewife is sister to a Holiness pastor. Mr. Katsuma, 33 yr. old man seated at the left, was first visited by Vicar Lester Hall over 2 yrs. ago—a battery maker who saw another light after 4 yrs. in bed with T. B. Mr. Watanabe, 19, is now preparing himself to enter the International Christian University. Mrs. Sunaga, 36, another housewife & friend of Mrs. Konno. Miss Ishizuka, only daughter of lovely Japanese parents. Plays the organ & now works at Lutheran Hour office.
We praise the Lord for His rich harvest of these blood bought souls. [additional text on back of photo is illegible]
