Back of photo caption: The former GHQ, now Tokyo Chapel Center choir in action at Asahi Studio. This selection of choir members from an original 100 or so produce the anthems in Japanese for the Lutheran Hour. Dr. Ugo Nakada is a very able and talented musician and song writer & translator who has been educated at Chicago Music College and Westminster Choir College. He also teaches music history and appreciation at Tokyo Women’s Christian College, one of the oldest & largest of its kind in Japan. Once in a while Rev. Glock joins in singing too.
